After working within the pet care industry for many years we recognized a significant gap: truly needs-based care for dogs. Fragmented services, no standards and ANYONE could offer pet care without training and barely any regulations — something most pet parents aren’t aware of.
So we decided to build something entirely new.
In 2026 we founded Dharma Pets – International Institute for Holistic and Sustainable Animal Welfare, an independent nonprofit association based in Hallein, Austria. As an institute, we bring together research, education and hands-on experience to define what truly good care means, and to make it visible for pet owners and professionals alike.
Tina Vulturius – President & Visionary of Holistic Pet Care
Tina brings over 15 years of experience in dog training, care, and holistic wellbeing to Dharma Pets. Her work combines professional dog training, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, trauma informed coaching, and nervous system work.
She leads the development of the standard and the long-term vision of Dharma Pets.
Pascale is a trained veterinary assistant with a strong background in holistic dog care. From veterinary medicine and dog daycare to working with sled dogs, horses and farm animals all around the world, she has learned to consider the animal as a whole — their health, environment, relationships and everyday experiences.
Within Dharma Pets, she is the heart of our community: connecting people, building networks and turning ideas into lived practice.
