Anyone can offer pet care today, often without training and without shared standards. Pet owners have no reliable way to recognize good care, and dedicated professionals have no way to show the quality of their work.
The Global Pet Care Standard will change that: a quality standard for pet care, developed together with pet professionals and pet owners, not imposed on them.
We begin with dog care in the DACH region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) and in British Columbia, Canada. In both regions, pet professionals are already working with us to shape a standard that works across borders.
We are at the very beginning. Right now we are defining the scope and developing the first criteria.
